COMMISSIONS
Interested in commissioning an original painting or series of paintings to commemorate what’s good in your world?
I work with individual clients and community organizations to capture and celebrate the meaningful stories where they live.
*** If you’d like to bring The What’s Good Project to highlight your community, let’s connect! Please email me at Jennifer @ whatsgoodproject.com with Community Commission in the subject line.***
Most often, I specialize in painting landscapes, exteriors, and interiors, and very occasionally a portrait or two. I work primarily in acrylic paint on handmade wood panels that don’t require additional framing.
Please note that it takes several months from initial contact to complete the painting or series.
Below are examples of recent commissions.

The Commission Process for Individual Clients:
Each client is different, so I tailor the process to the individual’s needs, but it typically runs something like this.
If you’re an individual client, and you’d like to learn more or move forward with a commission, please email me at jennifer @ whatsgoodproject.com with Commission Inquiry in the subject line.
You’ll receive a response with my current availability and price list. We can set up a time for a studio or site visit (if you’re local-ish) or a phone call/Zoom to discuss your ideas.
If our collaboration feels like a good fit for you, yay! I’ll draw up a simple artist contract describing the piece/series + timeline for you to sign and submit along with a 20% non-refundable deposit.
I’ll send you a photo when I consider the work done for your approval. You can request up to two minimal revisions. Once the piece is complete, we’ll arrange delivery and you can pay the remaining balance when the painting is in your hands.
And then voila! A personalized painting for your collection.
Questions? I’d love to hear from you at jennifer @ whatsgoodproject.com.
